This was a quick trip, with little planning. Steve wanted to dump the waste tank, and Punderson Lake State Park looked perfect. And then Vicki said “Why don’t we spend the night?” So we did. There were still plenty of open sites available on Saturday, so we reserved a spot. Packing was easy: food was dinner (greek salad and burgers) and breakfast (yogurt). Clothes were similarly sparse. We towed the Mini with us and had everything set up by 4:30.
This trip also gave us a chance to see how well the air conditioner worked, temperatures were in the high 80s. This wasn’t the worst case test, the site we were on did have trees around.
Everything went well except Lexie’s morning walk was a little short. Steve didn’t feel like going through the mud on the trail.
Tanks were cleaned and we arrived back home in time for Steve to go into Checkpoint for Tuesday afternoon (for his last, last week.)

Wednesday the Winnie went to its parking space. Steve managed to get his bike into the RV, so he biked home.
