This page tries to summarize our 2026 spring trip. So many pictures, so many souvenirs, so much traveling! We did our best to support the local economies, eating out at least once in most places. And it was a great bonus to spend time with our family as we traveled. I hope they felt the same way (and that we didn’t smell too bad from traveling.) V: we didn’t smell too bad – we’ve got a great shower in the RV.
Trip Map: almost 6000 miles with the RV (or approximately 850 gallons of gas) and another 1000 miles on the MiniCooper. 58 nights. 29 different campsites (including Lindo’s RV parking and Bowler ABQ RV parking)Trip elevation: high point was the continental divide in Wyoming (outside Yellowstone). Much of the trip was spent above 4000 feet.New magnets for the outside refrigerator and inside the RVNew National Park stickersRV camping map by state with ten new states added during this trip- we have to stay overnight in a camp site for a state to be included. V: Hawaii was not an RV stay, obviously, but 2 weeks on 3 islands was a qualifying event.Map of National Parks visited. And the weather we experienced was diverse. Yes, there were some hot days and some cold days. But we managed to be flexible in our plans and stay out of the really nasty weather.
V: Great to see more of this beautiful country and such diverse geography. But it’s really true – there’s NO PLACE LIKE HOME! (Soon) looking forward to our next adventures.
